Silly String

Albert Einstein died trying to figure out a unifying theory of everything. Problem is that some rules of physics work on a small subatomic scale, but not on a giant planetary scale, and vice versa. Some physicists think it may be solved using String Theory (Nova on PBS has a really interesting series on string theory http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/nova/elegant/). I think it's all very interesting but it's impossible to understand without have a grip on all of the dimensions. Here's a link that helps. But I'm still not sure I fully understand. Wait, maybe, yes?...no, no I've lost it.
